The author of the book is Durjoy Datta, a bestselling author since 2008. He has produced two youth-oriented TV shows for Star Plus and Channel V, respectively, titled Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera and Sadda Haq. He co-founded Grapevine India Publishers, which supports emerging authors. He began writing while still in college and has since produced nine best-selling books. Some of his books include If It's Not Forever, She Broke Up I Didn't, Now that You Are Rich, and Course I Love You. Orvana Ghai is a co-author on this book, which marks her debut as a writer.
